Court Reporters 
The Board of Court Reporting regulates court reporters and court reporting firms. The primary functions of the Board is to administer the Georgia Test, set continuing education requirements, and implement standards of professional and ethical conduct for court reporters. Staff serves as a point of contact for individuals interested in becoming a Georgia certified court reporter and for court reporting firms desiring to conduct business in Georgia. The Board maintains a database of over 1,100 certified court reporters and 125 registered court reporting firms.

Court Interpreters 
The Commission on Interpreters also recruits, trains and licenses interpreters in many languages to meet the needs of the court system. The office lists registered or certified court interpreters by county, language and contact information on the AOC website, www.georgiacourts.org , or a dedicated hotline, (404) 463-6478. The division also sets guidelines for the use of interpreters in the courts and establishes rules of Ethical Standards and Professional Responsibility for Interpreters.

County and Municipal Probation Advisory Council 
The AOC provides administrative support to the County and Municipal Probation Advisory Council which regulates all misdemeanor probation entities in Georgia. Both private probation entities and governmental (city and county) probation entities provide supervision, counseling, and collection of court-ordered fines to courts for individuals convicted of misdemeanor offenses. These entities provide services to approximately 700 courts in Georgia and supervise over 300,000 offenders annually.
