Georgia Courts

During the Legislative Session 2003-2004, Georgia's Legislature passed Senate Bill 229, which requires certain
citations be sent to the Department of Driver Services within ten days of issue. This bill was passed in response to a federal law that mandates that all driving convictions be reported wthin 30 days or states risk losing federal highway funds.
