Office of Juvenile Justice Outlines Best Practices for Family Drug Courts

The U.S. Office Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) releases new guidance on ways to improve the function of Family Drug Courts and how they treat young offenders.  OJJDP suggests Family Drug Courts should link up courts, child welfare, treatment, and other agencies, rather than operating as separate, isolated projects and seek additional local support from state or regional governments.
